Hi All, we are now back in blighty after catching an early flight out of Accra yesterday. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who sent messages and followed us on our journey - was great to know we were sharing it with friends and family.

Looking back to when we left 7 weeks ago today, and the feelings of trepidation we both had, i have to say that the trip went far better than hoped - no injuries, no serious bike issues, great roads, great fun, and amazing people. So we didnt quite make it to Timbuktu, but as a result of all that mess we ended up in some amazing places we wouldn’t have gone to otherwise (Burkina, Togo, Benin etc), and actually ended up closer to Cape Town than London!
